Nice place a few streets back from the beach, but totally in walking distance. Restaurants are close by as well. Breakfast was good (mix of english and sri lankan style), pool was nice (although water quality could have been a little better) Very nice personal (especially the man serving breakfast) that interacted nicely with our kid.

Great place to stay a night or two before/after flying. The beds are comfy, AC working well and the rooms were clean and fresh. The breakfast was great, but by far the best part is the staff working there. Young, friendly and helpful, making for a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The pool was clean and our young kids enjoyed swimming there. We could also arrange for an extra bed in the room which we appreciated very much! Location is great for walking downtown (or very short tuk tuk ride). No lunch at the property but that meant we found some great places to eat in town.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was as booked and had a super comfortable bed. I slept very well. I had a very late checkin and they stayed up for me (1.30am). Breakfast is served on a rooftop terrace and very nice. I only stayed for one night so I didn’t get to use the pool but it looked great. I walked to the beach which wasn’t far. The outside area in front of the room didn’t look as inviting and was right by where they keep the cleaning stuff like brooms etc, didn’t feel that private. Not so good- card payment had a 3% surcharge.

Very nice modern accommodation. The look of the rooms is very nice and luxurious, also it was spotless and very clean. We were early and the staff made us comfortable till our room was ready, we also got an early check in. The pool is a nice size and refreshing on a warm day. The breakfast in the morning was simple and ok, nothing special but just allright. Also the location was very nice, it was quick to get there from the airport and the beach was just a walk away

The staff were friendly - they warmly welcomed us and smiled at us untill the end of our stay. The breakfast was great! We received fresh watermelon juice to start; we were asked if we wanted tea or coffee; then, we were asked how we wanted our eggs to be; finally, we were served delicious and heartily breakfast. It made our day.

We were staying only for one night, just before our departure. The room was clean, the AC was working, and the bathroom was really nice. The pool area was cute, and the beach or restaurants were nearby. We were happy that we were dropped off at the airport free of charge.

The hotel is in a quiet area just one block back from the beach, restaurants are shops. It has its own swimming pool and area for sunbathing. Ideal for relaxing after your flight or before your trip home. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast very good. Our free airport shuttle arrived on time and got us there with no hassle.

We liked the hotel very much. The room was spacious for an adult and two children, the staff was very helpful and cheerful. They helped us to book a car and a driver for two trips (Colombo and Kandy). The driver was very nice and he took us to see nice sights telling about them and Sri Lanka. The pool area was also nice and it was good to swim and relax there. The hotel was located near a nice beach and many restaurants. We certainly would come to hotel Cloud 9 again!

The hotel is about 10km far from the Bandaranaike Airport. We have booked airport pick-up service with the hotel. Although our flight has been delayed so we landed an-hour late than schedule, the staff who pick us up was helpfull and patience. Our room has swimming pool view, and in the early morning, the staff pick up leaves to keep the pool clean all the time. The most impressive thing in this hotel is breakfast. After a long flight, the breakfast with fruits, fresh juice, bread, eggs are exactly what we need.
